Super 8 By Wyndham Peru Starved Rock State Park Hotel, Peru

My stay at the hotel had its highs and lows. The staff was incredibly helpful, accommodating my need for a first-floor room due to my age. However, I encountered significant issues with cleanliness in other areas, making it hard to recommend. The prices felt reasonable for what I received, but the lack of cleanliness can't be overlooked.

My stay at this Super 8 was far from ideal. While I appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the variety of breakfast options, the overall experience was marred by an outdated facility and unprofessional service. The location is decent for nearby shopping, but unfortunately, the noise and lack of hot water in the morning made for an uncomfortable visit.

The hotel offers a budget-friendly option with newly updated furniture and a comfortable mattress, but it also suffers from long-term neglect that is hard to ignore. While the staff was courteous and the location convenient, the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the facilities could use improvement, particularly in the dining area and common spaces.

My stay was extremely unpleasant. The state of the rooms was absolutely unacceptable with cleanliness being a major issue. I ended up in a dirty room where I'd found stains and foul odors that made my family feel sick. However, the second room was a little better, though it still had cleanliness issues. I would not recommend staying here at all due to the poor conditions and overall lack of hygiene.
